Ponder This… Six-Pack #25
1. Gary North points out strongly how the Federal Reserve and Federal Government in general have created the current crisis in the economy. There is no doubt in my mind that the Fed has played a tremendous role, essentially the most important in terms of psychology, in brewing the credit bubble that lead to the current credit crisis. The presence of the Fed needs to be scrutinized diligently.
2. Remember a couple years back, Joe Lieberman’s claim that his opponent for the U.S. Senate had hacked his site? Apparently, the charges against his opponent were made up off the cuff, and Lieberman’s campaign’s own activity likely brought the site down. This individual should be booted out of office if there was any malfeasance whatsoever.
3. A growing number of professionals globally are questioning the “official” 9/11 story. Research for yourself. Diligence is a key to freedom.
4. Solar energy is, in my opinion, the best potential renewable resource development. Google seems to agree. Please spread the word about solar energy technology development. This is the ultimate resource - the sun’s energy direct from the source.
5. The Drug War Clock estimates the total spent by the Federal and State governments of the U.S. on the drug war on a year-to-date basis. For numerous reasons, the War on Drugs is a policy that really needs to be adjusted.
6. By changing the course of the torch relay in San Francisco from its planned path, the protests of its running were minimized in relation to what took place in Britain and France earlier this week. Still, protesters and pro-China supporters converged to the scene en masse.
