Check out this article on the difficulty in gaining access to information relating to the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets, better known as “The Plunge Protection Team”.
I really do not believe a free market economy should have a hyperactive (or even active) group of government officials trying to jigger with the financial markets of […]

Ron Paul’s campaign is surging by the quarter. His growth can be seen by analyzing his quarterly fundraising haul:
First Quarter 2007 = $641,000
Second Quarter 2007 = $2.4 million
Third Quarter 2007 = $5.3 million
Fourth Quarter 2007 = $9.2 million (and counting, still over one month to go)

Throughout the mortgage lending bubble, banks would push loans to consumers and then sell the loans to big-time financial entities. The financial behemoths would then split the mortgages up, package them with loans on other properties, and then sell the packaged loans as large fixed income securities assumed to have low risk, and accordingly ascribed […]

Please read this article. Apparently, the Liberty Dollar group has been raided by the FBI and all assets seized. If this is true it is a very interesting action and I would like to hear the reasoning behind it. All I can say is wow. I thought this was America, a […]
