Ron Paul on Federal Government Spending
Posted on August 15th, 2007 by Kemp
Along with being much more morally justifiable, a limited republic is much more pragmatic than an expansive central government. The reason this is so is simple: government wastes money because it doesn’t have to earn it. It is much easier to stupidly spend other people’s hard earned money.

I keep coming back to Dr. Pauls analysis that Americans will have to change their minds about the role of government. The crux of this is that the majority of voting Americans just won’t let go of the entitlement systems and we’re doomed to a nasty future. The hot emerging economies, on the other hand, have young populations and don’t have cumbersome entitlement systems. Who is more competitive? Americans say, “Who cares? I want a free ride until we run out of gas in the middle of the sahara”
I think it’s important for those “in the know” to speak up and turn the tide against the BS. Being silent or simply accepting the way it is because it’s the way it, is something that I simply can’t do and I would really encourage any other responsible individual to do the same. Speak up!!!
