Barry Bonds Home Run Ball Bedlam + His Other Mode of Cheating
Known steroid user Barry Bonds last night broke Henry Aaron’s all-time career home run record, whacking number 756 in front of the home crowd at AT&T Ballpark (formerly Pac Bell Park and SBC Park).
The festivities that followed were not limited to the field, however, as a mad mob broke out in the bleachers, everyone trying their damnedest to get the prized home run ball, probably worth over a half million US$.
Check out a great article on the fans vying for the prize here.
Be sure to also check out this great article on Barry Bonds’ “bionic arm” that gives him additional help in swatting home runs.

It’s like that guy won the lottery. His flight was delayed so he figured he would catch a ballgame…Pay a few bucks for a ticket…catch a ball worth $500k.
I would sell it while the price is that high, because I would have no use for it…. and Hank Aaron is the All-Time Homerun King to me
I would sell that thing before you could say “steroid king.”
lol
the moyer family hates on barry bonds way too much. so what if bonds uses steriods. he still has to be skilled enough to actuall hit a 95 mile an hour ball before he sends it 420 some odd feet. lets see you hit a 95 mph ball 756 times. also he hasn’t been proven guilty on the steroids cuz if he had been i don’t think he would still be playing.
He certainly was a very good player before deciding to cheat to get as much as he could and I give him credit for all that is needed to break such a record. He likely would have been a hall-of-famer before the roids and armor, but he wanted it all. I am personally not a fan of those who cheat for more.
