Social Security and Medicare entitlement promises are completely out of control. Right now, our government owes more than $500,000 for every household in the country. These liabilities are ours as a citizenry and we are continuing to allow this to occur, further burdening future generations. At some point there will be a crisis, the question is when not if. Please do not follow the herd mindlessly accepting the status quo as things continue to deteriorate in terms of our national balance sheet. These programs are now a huge albatross that should not be ignored.
